Music for cello and piano by Bach, Bruch and Rachmaninoff
Caroline Dale is a renowned cello soloist with broad musical interests. Principal cellist with the English Chamber orchestra, she has also played with a wide range of pop and rock musicians, including Joan Armatrading, Peter Gabriel, Oasis and U2. She and pianist Paul Taylor will be performing a Bach gamba sonata, Bruch’s Kol Nidrei, Martinu’s Variations on a Slovak theme, Rachmaninov’s Vocalise and Chopin’s Introduction and Polonaise Brillante.
CRAG’s Sunday Tea Concerts are held in the Memorial Hall, Browns Lane, Charlbury at 3pm.
The music lasts approximately one hour and is always followed by complimentary tea and CRAG’s legendary homemade cake.
