5 ways you can help CRAG help refugees…

1. Take part in the CRAG Challenge

Pick a challenge and ask your friends and family to sponsor you. It’s time to fish out those old trainers, dust your violin, go dry for a month, get that mad haircut! You could either do a one-off challenge – shaving off your beard for example, or doing 50 handstands in a day – or you could challenge yourself to achieving something over a month, like writing a poem every day – it’s up to you.

To get started go to our CRAG Challenge JustGiving page

2. Sell an item and turn it into cash for CRAG

Offer your item for sale on charlbury.info, Gumtree, Nextdoor, eBay etc, and give CRAG a percentage or all of the sale’s proceeds.

If you have valuable vintage items, we might be able to sell these items at auction – please contact us below.

We are now a registered charity and can claim 25% gift aid on all donations from UK tax payers. You can download the Gift Aid form here. Even if yours is a one-off donation you can still complete the form.

Please email your completed form to our treasurer or print and deliver to 19 The Green, Charlbury OX7 3QA.

3. Set up a monthly standing order

A regular donation ensures that we can always send money to the charities working in areas of greatest need, which will vary from month to month.

You can either transfer money directly to our bank account: Charlbury Refugee Action Group, Sort code: 089299, Account no: 65789036, or set up monthly payments via JustGiving – just click on the ‘Donate’ button in the top right.

Please email to let us know once you’ve set up your payments. You can gift aid us using the this form. Please email it to our treasurer.

4. Volunteer

We’re always looking for volunteers, organisers, cake bakers, cooks, speakers, drivers willing to take items to Calais…

Do you have an idea for a fundraising event? Or perhaps you’d like to help publicise or run one?

We’d love to hear from you.

5. Come to one of our events

We run regular events throughout the year, including our renowned Sunday afternoon concerts in Charlbury Memorial Hall during the winter months featuring world class classical musicians.

We also run an annual Artweeks cafe, speaker events, car boot sales, bring & buy sales and public meetings.

Take a look at our events page to see what’s coming up. We hope to see you soon!
